TIM KEMPTNER
Interim Director
Tim has been in Manteca since 1979 and graduated from Manteca High in 1992. He has experience working in mental health, construction, and church ministry. One of his most impactful experiences was volunteering for 6 months in an orphanage just south of Ensenada, Mexico. Currently Tim volunteers as a Chaplain for MPD, helps schedule the Invocation & Flag Salute for City Council meetings, is on the Board of the Manteca Children’s Foundation, and is on staff at New Hope Church since 1997. He has worked, along with his wife Sarah, within the school district as a wellness-coach since 2021. He and Sarah were married in 2015 and have a blended family of three college-aged boys and three teenage girls.

Growing up as a Military-kid & Pastor’s daughter, Laura brings an awesome personality & outlook to the Center. From running & coordinating gigantic events for the Ripon Chamber, to decorating & managing a successful storefront… Laura’s hard work makes it look effortless. Wife, Mom, Young-Adult Group leader, loyal friend, Jesus-follower… and now Thomas Toy Office Manager.
