The Thomas Toy Community Center (TTCC)
TTCC is a non-profit organization located at 602 East Yosemite Avenue in Manteca,
California, dedicated to serving youth in 7th through 12th grades. Its mission is to provide
a safe and supportive environment where local teens can grow socially, academically,
and spiritually.

Core Offerings & Environment
The 8,000-square-foot facility is designed to empower teens by giving them ownership over
their space and programs. Key features and activities include:
-
The Café: A modern "Starbucks-vibe" space for gathering with friends, enjoying
-
food, or meeting with mentors.
-
Academic Support: On-site tutoring and homework assistance provided through a
-
partnership with Give Every Child a Chance.
-
Recreation & Clubs: A variety of engaging options such as a Garden Club, Art Club,
-
gaming, air hockey, pool tables, music performances and much much more.
-
Life Skills: Programs focused on character building, leadership, and practical skills like
-
financial literacy or bicycle repair.
Community & Engagement
TTCC emphasizes mentorship and authentic relationship-building between staff,
volunteers, and students. To encourage genuine social interaction, the center uses a cell phone locker system where teens are encouraged to check in their devices to earn food credits. The center operates as a "local mission field," relying on volunteers and donors to sustain its operations. Parents must complete a registration form for their students to access TTCC's free membership.
